KNOWLEDGE IS KEY

Like thousands of other pioneers, you have a treacherous journey across the plains and mountains of the North American continent to California. As you undoubtedly know, there are numerous dangers on the trail that can ruin your plans: stampeding buffalo, broken equipment, bad weather, bandits, disease, and much more. The more you know, the better your chances. Your success on the California Trail will hinge on the knowledge you have and the decisions you make. If you know what you are supposed to know, and buy the right supplies, and the right amount of supplies, you may experience smooth sailing straight into the Golden State. If your knowledge is inadequate, however, you'll come face-to-face with many of the dangers listed above. If times get desperate, you may have to resort to sabotaging other wagons on the train to acquire their supplies. Good luck! And may your knowledge be your guide to California.
